Lifestyle brand Ugg, a division of Deckers Brands, has launched the all-gender eco-friendly collection ‘Regenerate by Ugg’ as a step toward regenerative fashion.
The Southern California-based company said all pieces in the collection were crafted with materials from land cared for with regenerative traditions.
The release is part of Ugg’s commitment to help restore 1 million acres of grassland into regenerative farmland by 2025. This plan has so far contributed to the restoration of 310,000 acres.
The brand has teamed up with several creators and activists in the regenerative community, including Marina Testino among others, to debut the collection.
The Regenerate by Ugg, which features three types of regenerative boots and two regenerative slippers, is available online and at Ugg stores and select wholesale retailers nationwide.
Founded in 1978, Ugg designs and retails footwear, apparel, accessories, and homewares with a focus on quality and craftsmanship. The brand delivers more than $1.5 billion in annual sales, with concept and outlet stores worldwide in key markets, including New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Paris, London, Tokyo, Shanghai, and Beijing.
