Fashion chain Rodd & Gunn opens bar at Chadstone

Kiwi fashion label Rodd & Gunn has introduced ‘The Lodge Bar’, its first experiential retail concession, at Myer Chadstone.

Located alongside the Rodd & Gunn concession at the department store, The Lodge Bar deliver a multi-functional retail experience, where customers can browse the brand’s latest collection and enjoy wine and food at the same place.

The Lodge Bar Myer Chadstone spans 90sqm, housing a terrazzo bar with lavish seating zones. The store design features oak wood flooring, wool rugs, tan leather, and brass accents.

The Lodge Bar’s food menu is crafted by renowned chef Matt Lambert with high-quality ingredients sourced from local suppliers, including specialty cheeses supplied by Calendar Cheese, moreish breads, pastries and baked goods from Dench Bakery and Mabel’s.

Master Sommelier, Cameron Douglas, The Lodge Bar’s head of beverages, was tasked with curating the wine list. The bar’s offerings include an array of renowned New Zealand spirits, premium cocktails, and craft beer from Garage Project, and wines from family-owned producer Peregrine.

The Lodge Bar Myer Chadstone follows the launch of two New Zealand locations – The Lodge Bar Queenstown and The Lodge Bar & Dining Auckland.

“This memorable launch marks the start of big things to come within the market,” the company said.
