Located inside a Grade II-listed Edwardian building on New Bond Street, Celine’s new flagship blends what the brand describes as a modern aesthetic style with historic architecture. The 466sqm store is dominated by marble elements and mirror installations.

Slimane makes use of the Edwardian building’s existing structure, dedicating the original octagonal space for displaying Celine’s fragrance collection. The store’s basement resembles a contemporary study with wooden furniture, such as large wooden bookshelves and chairs, and a 17th-century Flemish oil portrait.

The store also houses furniture designed by Slimane himself, alongside mid-century pieces sourced by the brand. Meanwhile, artworks by Ugandan sculptor Leilah Babirye and artist Nika Neelova are displayed throughout the store.

While the ground floor is designed for women’s ready-to-wear collections, accessories and homewares, the basement is dedicated to men’s apparel and accessories collections.
