Uniqlo confirms fifth NSW store opening

uniqloJapanese retailer, Uniqlo, has confirmed its Westfield Chatswood store will open on February 18 as part of its ongoing Australian expansion.

The opening comes as part of the centre’s $110 million redevelopment and represents the fifth NSW store for the casual wear retailer.

Japanese drummers will be on hand as the company launches the store opening with an official ribbon cutting ceremony.

The new store will the full range of  Uniqlo apparel including its spring/summer 2016 collection.

Shoichi Miyasaka, Uniqlo CEO Australia, said he believes the Chatswood store opening is further testament to the retailer’s growing presence across the Australian market, and follows a strong reception from its Australian customers.

The announcement follows Uniqlo’s first foray into Queensland last year, with the opening of its first store in Brisbane.
