UGG Australia adds to Asia

 

uggaustralia-hongkongAmerican footwear company UGG Australia has opened its second store in Hong Kong.

The brand owned by Californian company, Deckers Outdoor Corporation, has opened a 1500sqft store at Ocean Terminal shopping centre in Tsim Sha Tsui.

“We have been waiting for the opportunity to find the right retail place and Ocean Terminal is one of the best malls in Hong Kong for high traffic of shoppers and wide variety of brands,” said UGG Australia brand director for Asia Pacific, Paul Tinkler.

The brand’s other store in Hong Kong is located in Causeway Bay, where it will hold a launch event in November for its autumn and winter collections.

UGG Australia is also expanding rapidly in mainland China where it plans to have 37 stores by the end of the year.

It plans to end the year with 70 stores in Asia.

UGG is known for sheepskin boots in the Australian ugg boot style. Its range also include bags, clothing, outerwear, hats, gloves and other goods.
