Target takes Dion Lee online first

Dion Lee TargetTarget’s newest designer range, Dion Lee for Target, will go on sale online tonight at 8pm, before it is available in selected Target stores nationally tomorrow.

Stuart Machin, MD of Target, said the retailer wanted to offer customers the opportunity to shop the exclusive range online before it launches in-store on July 2.

“We are thrilled to launch the Dion Lee for Target collection online tonight to our customers, and are expecting the range to sell quickly,” Machin said.

“The Dion Lee for Target collection delivers modern, designer womenswear at an affordable price, and it is a range our customers will love.”

The capsule collection will be available in-store tomorrow at 10 stores in Sydney including both Bondi Junction and Broadway stores. It includes day-to-night clothing, loungewear, performance wear and accessories and prices range between $25 and $119, in sizes 6 to 16.

“My collection with Target combines style with function and reflects the wardrobe of the contemporary Australian woman at work or relaxing,” said Australian designer Dion Lee, who has designed his first-ever performance range for Target.

“Designing performance wear was a new experience, and I was inspired to create modern women’s activewear for everyday living.”

The 36 piece women’s collection is part of the Designers for Target program, which launched in 2006. In the past Target has collaborated with with fashion designers including Roberto Cavalli, Dita Von Teese, and Stella McCartney.

Most recently Target has partnered with Australian model, Megan Gale, to create an exclusive homewares range which will launch in 100 stores and online from September 10.
