Podcast with Prakash Menon, Global Retail Academy

PKInside Retail sat down with Global Retail Academy founder Prakash Menon, who is in Australia for a leadership workshop next week.

Menon, a former director of supply chain at Myer, believes that there’s not enough technical skill retail c-suites and advocates for more process driven thinking at an executive level.

Explaining that silos are a product of large companies, Menon argues that the key to retail success in the modern world is continuous innovation and collaborative company structures that maximise participation, growth and upward mobility within retail businesses.

He’ll be delivering his view alongside Andrew Cavanagh, who worked at Myer for more than 20 years, at a workshop event on the 25th of July in Melbourne.
