Payless ShoeSource has appointed Mark Jeffery as MD of Payless Shoes Australia.

Jeffery will provide oversight and leadership to Payless Shoes as the company continues to build upon its 143 existing store locations in Australia.

The company fell in administration in September last year and was purchased by its US namesake, Payless ShoeSource following the closure of close to 100 stores.

There are now 143 stores across Australia. Jeffery was most recently a member of the executive leadership team at Big W where he held various senior leadership positions including supply chain, operations and merchandising of hard goods.
