A string of international fashion labels as well as Australia’s first Armani Collezioni will open in Brisbane this month as part of Indooroopilly Shopping Centre’s $450 million redevelopment.

Opened today, the newly redeveloped centre now houses international labels such as Ted Baker and Calibre, as well as leading Australian fashion designer brands including Carla Zampatti, Scanlan Theodore, Sass & Bide, Manning Cartell, Mecca Cosmetica, Camilla, and a premium David Jones department store.

Around 30 more stores are expected to open throughout this month, including Australia’s first Armani Collezioni, with another 20 stores to call Indooroopilly home from next month.

Other stores to open this month include Queensland’s first SuperGlue store, featuring its own cafe; as well as the state’s first Move store.

Merrell, Platypus, Skechers, intraining, Catalog Clothing, Windsor Smith, Limpopo, and Bose are also now open in the new mall.

Indooroopilly Shopping centre manager, Leah Mienert, says the new stores are sure to impress customers with incredible store designs to showcase their latest collections.

“Many of the brands housed at Indooroopilly have given such attention to detail to their shop interiors. It’s not just about the shopping anymore; it’s about the shopping experience.

“Armani Collezioni is expected to open toward the end of the month and is one worth waiting for as the fitout has been sent directly from Paris.

“The combination of fashion icons opening for the first time in Queensland along with the strong contingent of Australian fashion designers returning to the Centre will assist in ensuring Indooroopilly Shopping Centre reclaims its leading fashion position.”
