Baskin-Robbins grows team

Baskin-Robbins team photoBaskin-Robbins has added four new head office team members as it continues its expansion plan of opening a further 20 stores this year.

The Baskin-Robbins team has grown by more than 15 per cent in the pas three months, through the four new appointments and the internal promotion of one employee.

New roles have been created for both a senior financial accountant as well as a marketing executive.

Jennifer Vink has been appointed in the new role of senior financial accountant. Vink has more than 10 years experience in the financial sectors with both Virgin Australia and Toll. In her role as senior financial accountant she will focus on the development, integration, and implementation of the groups new accounting system.

Colleen Gaerth has been appointed to the role of marketing executive, bringing with her both local and international experience. In her role Gaerth will focus on providing local store marketing plans and initiatives for Baskin-Robbins’ franchise partner stores.

Marc Fernandez has stepped into the role of business development manager, with more than 25 years in the QSR sector. Fernandez joins the operational team to support and grow existing franchise partner stores.Brooke Meredyth will step into the role of office manager and will be key to establishing best practices in administration within Baskin-Robbins’ franchise support centre.

Internally, Blake Canilho has been promoted to the position of training manager. Canilho has been with Baskin-Robbins since 2013 and brings a wealth of experience both operationally as well as within the training discipline. Canilho will focus on new franchise partner training programmes as well training and re-accreditation of existing team members.

Baskin-Robbins GM, David Jordan, said there’s a lot of hard work that goes into serving the world’s favourite ice cream here in Australia.
