A pair of armed and hungry Gold Coast bandits have gone to extreme lengths to fill their bellies.

The two robbed a pizza delivery driver at Robina in the early hours of Friday morning, one of them brandishing a gun during the roadside hold-up.

Police say the driver was outside a Concord Circuit address just after midnight when approached by the men as he got out of his car.

One took the pizzas he was delivering while the other pulled a gun and demanded money.

The pair didn’t get any cash but fled with the pizzas, leaving the driver uninjured.
