Westfield Carousel opened its doors last week after a $350 million redevelopment to bring about the “next generation of retail in Western Australia.”
The centre is the largest living centre in WA, spanning 110,000sqm and offering 330 retailers across fashion, food, lifestyle, dining and entertainment.
“We have listened to our customers in Perth and are today delivering a customer experience beyond a traditional retail destination,” Scentre Group CEO Peter Allen said.
“Westfield Carousel is a place of discovery, which is set to continue as more retailers progressively open, connecting our customers with high-quality and memorable retail experiences as well as offering a vibrant dining, leisure and entertainment precinct to be enjoyed with friends and family.”
The centre now features a fully refurbished HOYTS cinema, featuring a menu designed by celebrity chef Manu Feidel, as well as WA’s first valet service at a shopping centre, and dedicated Uber pick up and drop off zones.
An expanded mix of retailers now offers JD Sports, Vans, Criniti’s, TGI Friday’s, Mecca Maxima, Seed and Platypus, with more retailers launching in the future.
“Our dynamic approach to curating the right product and services mix in our centres is the reason why customers keep visiting our centres and why our portfolio continues to be the first choice for both new and established retailers to grow their brand and businesses,” Allen said.
