QBD The Bookshop expands

Australia’s largest retail book chain of company owned outlets has confirmed new store openings across three states in the coming months. Resource-5

QBD The Bookshop’s director, Mark Robinson, said the flexibility of running a company owned chain has allowed them to meet local demands for book suppliers quickly.

“Our sales have grown as more customers from recently closed book stores realise we offer the same product for a discounted price,” said Robinson.

Next month, QBD will open at Westfield Liverpool Shopping Centre in Sydney’s West. In October, the chain will open two stores, one at Adelaide’s Westfield West Lakes Shopping Centre, and the other at Westfield Southland Shopping Centre in Victoria.

QBD The Bookshop has 50 stores across Queensland, NSW, NT, SA, Victoria, and the ACT.  Earlier this year in June, the book chain launched into the digital space with the release of an eBooks range and e-reader app.
