Pie Face expands SA footprint

chain, franchise, piefacePie Face will increase its South Australian footprint this month, expanding into 35 more On The Run (OTR) convenience stores, following a trial in 12 stores earlier this year.

From this week, the range of Pie Face products will be available in half of the OTR network.

This is the second phase of the partnership between Pie Face and OTR, which began in January when the companies signed a two year deal to introduce Pie Face products to South Australians.

“In the few months we have enjoyed our partnership with On The Run, sales of Pie Face products have been very promising,” Andrew Lyme, commercial manager at Pie Face, said.

‘It’s clear there’s an appetite for our pies in the South Australian market and this partnership has allowed us to expand our national presence by offering South Australians our premium hand-crafted pies, in the OTR locations that are convenient, appealing, and familiar.”

Pie Face, which launched in Sydney in 2003, has 89 stores across Australia, the United States, and New Zealand, and plans to  expand into the Middle East, Malaysia, and Singapore in the next few years.
