An Amsterdam hotel has taken the concept of inflight shopping and adapted it to the hotel industry with the launch of an e-commerce concept, Room Shopping.

According to trend watching site, Springwise, Amsterdam’s Dylan Hotel is allowing guests to select products from the local district for delivery within the hour.

The service is available to guests who purchase a special package, which includes a night in a double room, breakfast, and a Room Shopping menu showcasing products from the local shopping district’s own website, 9straatjesonline. Guests also receive a discount on purchases over EUR 100.
