Savills Australia Retail Services has appointed David Kleiner as retail leasing executive.

Previously with Oxford Commercial, Kleiner has worked with many of the big landlords and retailers in the industry.

Leighton Hunziker, divisional director retail, said Savills is delighted to have Kleiner on board.

“He has a great track record and is well respected both by retailers and landlords for his professional problem solving approach to property,” said Hunziker.

“Clients today are really looking for more than just a retail broker. They want an expert retail adviser.

“There is a lot of pressure on retail at present with spending constrained and rentals heading south, landlords need sound professional advice to secure not just a good rent, but a great retailer.”
