Harrolds opens its doors to women

Harrolds WomensHarrolds has officially opened the doors to its first dedicated womenswear store at Westfield Sydney.

After 30 years in the menswear space, this is the first foray into womenswear for the luxury retailer, and will be the first store in its ranks to house an Australian label, Melbourne-based Strateas.Carlucci.

Australia’s premium taste has prompted industry players to scour the globe for the right fusion of fashion and luxury to cater for the ever changing needs of consumers.

Harrolds women’s will stock a range of luxury fashion houses including international brands Acne, Balmain, Lanvin, Giuseppe Zanotti, Saint Laurent Paris, Balenciaga, and Thom Browne.

Continuing their exclusive partnership, Harrolds women’s will also include a Tom Ford shop in shop, featuring nail and lip products, handbags, and shoes.

Harrolds began as one small menswear emporium, specialising in classic luxury and suiting, and has evolved into three menswear locations around Australia, with the womenswear store the latest to join its portfolio.

The luxury retail industry has grown from strength to strength over the years, while many sectors suffered through the global financial crisis, Australian luxury retailers such as Harrolds coasted through and came out the other side stronger than ever.
