Australian dollar down

The Australian dollar has fallen Thursday, buying 67.52 US cents from 67.80 US cents on Wednesday.

One Australian dollar buys 72.73 Japanese yen, from 72.83; 61.69 euro cents, from 61.71; 54.66 British pence, from 54.44 and 107.64 NZ cents, from 107.52.

The local currency rose Wednesday, buying 67.99 US cents from 67.72 US cents on Tuesday.

It traded at 72.83 Japanese yen, from 72.85; 61.71 euro cents, from 61.61;  54.44 British pence, from 54.48 and 107.52 NZ cents, from 107.62.

The Aussie dollar was up Tuesday morning, buying 67.78 US cents from 67.73 US cents on Monday.

It fell Monday, buying 67.69 US cents from 68.05 US cents on Friday.
