Adelaide ramps up duty free

 

adeaideairportLS travel retail Pacific has unveiled a major retail development at Adelaide Airport.

The airport’s new and improved retail offering includes the Australian debut of Aelia Duty Free, a “next generation evolution” of the well known NewsLink concept.

The launch of Aelia Duty Free has enabled LS travel to bring new categories and brands to Adelaide Airport for the first time, with the existing duty free footprint increasing by more than 50 per cent.

The development also sees the retailer’s footprint increase at Adelaide Airport to 1700sqm across nine brands, with the new stores joining existing NewsLINK, Relay, Icons South Australia, Australian Made, Purely Merino, and Smiggle outlets.

Other highlights include a dedicated South Australia Wine offering, a Victoria’s Secret Beauty & Accessories store, and an expanded electronics offering with its tech2go stores.

If a customer service innovation works in Travel Essentials,  why not look at how we can adapt it to specialty retail. If a category performs strongly in Icons South Australia, how can we adapt  that approach to Duty Free.
