Online appliance retailer, 2nds World, has launched a new website with a focus on m-commerce.
The revamped site is now accessible on tablets and smartphones and includes a new design and layout as well as a larger product range, more detailed product information, videos and images of products, customer reviews, extra warranty choices and the option to compare between similar products. The website can also track the user’s location to calculate the shipping costs and offer the best shipping options.
Peter Hammerman, MD of 2nds World, said the company believes mobile shopping is a major part of the future of retailing.
“Busy shoppers can now access our online store from any web-enabled device,” Hammerman said.
“Mobile shopping is not only about being cutting-edge. It’s about offering a more convenient shopping experience that matches today’s consumers’ needs.”
New shipping options are also available, including same day delivery in Sydney’s CBD.
