Today, Inside Retail is launching its Top 25 Retailers report, which ranks Australia’s best retailers by revenue returns in order to showcase some of the country’s best talent. 

Throughout the last few years, retail has had many ups and downs, and while some businesses have struggled others persevered and reaped the rewards. 

“There were already signs, pre-Covid, of a declining appetite for new store openings. But during the pandemic, store network expansion ground to a halt and the surge of global competitors into the Australian market petered out,” said report author Jared Dickson.

This list not only shows the biggest brands in the country, from Domino’s to Chemist Warehouse, and Myer to Priceline – it also showcases those that have been willing to pivot and redirect themselves in order to be better placed for a changing retail industry.
