Heinemann Australia has opened its new stores in Gold Coast Airport’s expanded terminal, after announcing the expansion earlier this year in March.

Having nearly doubled the size of its retail space to 1324sqm across the departures and arrivals areas, Heinemann has adopted Gold Coast Airport’s ‘Coast to Hinterland’ design concept, using materials, textures, and colour scheme that mimics the region’s landscape of beaches, rainforests, and mountains.

Heinemann is launching 40 new brands to its offer at Gold Coast Airport, across the categories of wines, spirits, fragrances, confectionery, skincare, cosmetics, fashion, and accessories. Newcomers include Prada, Dior, Tom Ford, Gucci and Bottega Veneta.

Kylie Cosmetics, a millennial and Gen Z favourite, is available at Gold Coast Airport, and Heinemann will stock broad cosmetics lines from Gucci, Chanel, and Dior.

Queensland Airports chief commercial officer Adam Rowe said the collaboration with Heinemann will enhance the customer experience while travelling, providing “a compelling retail offering for all passengers”.

Aiming to expand on the long-standing product categories provided before, Heinemann will offer watches and jewellery at Gold Coast Airport for the first time, including from names such as Baby-G, G-Shock, and Tommy Hilfiger. The company has doubled its eyewear collection, adding labels including Prada, Dior, Bottega Veneta, Saint Laurent, Tom Ford, and Gucci.

Heinemann will also showcase local brands at the airport, including Gospel Whiskey, Brookie’s Gin, and Never Never Gin, along with confectionery brand Koko Black, Unilever’s T2, and snackfood and baked-goods label Luken & May.
