Walmart US has added Chanel, Prada, and Fendi to its online offer as part of its marketplace of third-party vendors.
According to the Business Times, the prices of the Rebag-certified products range from hundreds to thousands of US dollars.
The new category comes as Walmart seeks to compete better with Amazon and other e-commerce platforms.
Michael Mosser, Walmart Marketplace VP, said that his company seeks to boost its offerings with items that are hard to find.
Meanwhile, Rebag CEO Charles Gorra said that the partnership will help expand his company expand its footprint.
Earlier, Walmart introduced drone delivery service and AI-powered shopping assistant as part of its retail innovations to adapt to the changing customer demand.
