Whilst I agree with another article about the concerns of retail foreign invasion, it annoys me to think Zara may bypass Brisbane and/or the Gold Coast. Having visited their stores, I do agree their clothes and accessories are not always crash hot, but to not have a presence here, while Topshop does, and Forever 21, Uniqlo, Gap, H & M and maybe even Marks & Spencer will in Brisbane and/or GC, doesn't make sense. They will likely change their minds but either get rid of Zara from Australia (which obviously won't happen unless they go broke) or include Brisbane. Perth is next on the list, but don't leave us out. Also the staff leave a lot to be desired in Bondi and Pitt Street Zara stores, Bourke Street was marginally better. But Zara should be nationwide.

Zara is looking for Brisbane and Gold Coast sites, whoever put that they are not coming, unless Zara pulled out of Australia we will see them here.

Yes, recruiting for Gold Coast store is happening now, Brisbane no idea but will happen.

Finally this nonsense of no Queensland stores can be laid to rest, Robina Gold Coast Zara is being fitted out and Brisbane is on the list for 2015, so all solved.

Well as usual after all the drama Brisbane will have a Zara - confirmed!
