Target’s big names launch campaign

Target_84117391 TEASETarget has today launched a new campaign featuring brand ambassadors Jessica Mauboy, Sonia Kruger and Fiona Falkiner and designer for Target Dannii Minogue.

A teaser campaign launched on Monday of this week, with outdoor billboards featuring the four women and two male models in nothing but a white shirt and the campaign slogan ‘Find Your Jeans’.

A television commercial sees all four dancing across the screen in just a white shirt and heels before appearing in their Target jeans.  The TVC also features two males, two young girls and a baby modelling the Target denim range.

The campaign was created by AJF Partnership Melbourne, with the TVC directed by Benn Jae and imagery shot by Steven Chee.

“We know from research that Australian women struggle with shopping for jeans, it can be alienating and make them feel like their own body isn’t ‘right’,” said AJF Partnership Melbourne executive creative director, Josh Stephens.

“We wanted to break down that stereotype by showcasing that everyone can find a pair that is accessible and right for them.  It was with this insight that we developed the Find Your Jeans campaign, to highlight that everybody can find their jeans at Target, no matter their age or size.”

The TVC will run for two weeks, with the outdoor billboards appearing till end of the month.

“What better way to showcase our new denim range than on our three diverse brand ambassadors Sonia, Jess and Fiona, plus designer Dannii Minogue,” said Target head of brand communications, Jennifer Goonniah. “We love the new campaign and are proud to be celebrating diversity of styles, fits and looks.
