Net-A-Porter’s shoppable app

netaporter-app-shoppableThe forward thinking magazine campaign lets browsers buy items through a bespoke shopping app.

The campaign uses augmented reality technology across four scenes set in Paris.

When browsers scan the advertisement with the smartphone app, five best selling products are revealed.

The browser can buy these items online via the Net-A-Porter app, with the featured items changing monthly.

The “shop” button hovers over black shopping boxes and the model in each scene, with the outfit worn available to purchase.

The campaign is being featured in print publications from March and the app is free to download via iTunes.

Net-A-Porter isn’t the first luxury retailer to use shoppable apps, with fashion house Gucci also having utilised the channel.
