The Australian Retailers Association (ARA) along with Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC), is holding an industry round table lunch later this month to discuss overseas ethical manufacturing guidelines.
The event comes following the recent factory fire disasters in Bangladesh, with the luncheon aiming to highlight current issues around supply chain standards and develop strategies for improving heath and safety ethical compliance.
The free event, to be held on Monday July 29 in Melbourne, will be facilitated by Stuart Harker, global retail and consumer advisory partner for PwC, and Russell Zimmerman, executive director of the ARA.
