David Jones enters the digital age

In this week’s Inside Retail Digital Weekly, It’s suffered much haranguing and criticism over its lacklustre digital offerings for the past few years, but finally, David Jones is fighting back.

This week it launched its brand new e-commerce presence, app, and blog, and DJs head of omni-channel retailing has dropped by to explain more about the department store’s digital plans to us.

But things aren’t looking so positive for beleaguered fashion chain, Ojay, with hopes for a rescue fading fast. In other fashion news, a controversial Melbourne fashion brand has ties to a company that has also slipped below the red line.
