One of Australia’s leading digital wine businesses the Wine Collective has relaunched, creating a wine-led marketplace which seeks to “forever change the way Australians buy and enjoy fine wine”.

The relaunch follows a period of online growth and tech-led innovation, as well as an oversubscribed $8.28 million capital raising completed last month to fund the business’ growth strategy. The initiative will see subsidiary My Wine Guy merged with the main Wine Collective platform, which will allow over 10,000 wines to be offered in one place.

“The Wine Collective continues to innovate and in relaunching our world class marketplace and bringing My Wine Guy brand under the banner of the Wine Collective, we now offer all our customers access to the ultimate digital wine portfolio,” said Wine Collective CEO Lloyd Heinrich.

The group also revealed a partnership with French wine merchant CVBG, which will enable a stronger roster of international wines.

“We are proud to partner with the Wine Collective to bring some of the world’s best rare and premium wines to Australia,” CBVG CEO Mathieu Chadronnier said.

“The world-first partnership has been forged based on a mutual appreciation and understanding of fine wine. Our global connections with the best international winemakers will provide discerning Australian wine lovers unprecedented access to the world’s leading premium wines.”

The partnerships will also allow customers access to insider industry knowledge and premium service, as well as a curated selection from the local and international portfolio which is delivered to customers’ door.
