Sportswear retailer LSKD has won the Business of the Year title from Telstra Best Business Awards.

LSKD emerged as the winner from more than 22,000 small and medium-sized business candidates nationwide.

“In speaking to the judges, it was clear that LSKD is committed to the fitness community it serves, fostering an inclusive and high-performing culture that comes through in the quality of its products,” said Telstra Business group executive Amanda Hutton.

“We’re thrilled to see and support the team’s continued growth.”

Queenslander Jason Daniel founded LSKD, which he named after his childhood nickname ‘loose kid.’

It started as a schoolboy venture and eventually grew into a $80 million global enterprise and now targeting to hit $100 million in revenue this year.

The brand has also partnered with several charities including the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Queensland and the Leukaemia Foundation.
