Cotton On’s online-only sustainable label Ceres Life, which is focused on utilising organic and reused fabrics in its clothes, has named former group strategy manager Steph Nolan as its general manager.
Nolan was part of the team that initially launched Ceres Life last year, and will lead the organic label with a ‘roll up your sleeves’ and work-culture focused approach, according to the business.
“Wellness and development will be a huge part of my leadership strategy, knowing that when the team are well and happy, they’ll perform at their best,” Nolan said.
“Driving confidence in what each person brings to the table, and building great relationships with the people who inspire is to think differently is key. And together, our team will be focused on the customer.”
The plan for Ceres Life, according to Nolan, is to build awareness of the brand through digital and wholesale channels to drive a connection with its customers, and, once the brand has grown, to launch its own stores.
Nolan joins a majority female leadership team across Cotton On, and was welcomed into the role by Cotton On Group chief executive Peter Johnson.
“Steph is a long-standing and much-loved part of the [Cotton On Group] family, and we’re thrilled to be able to support her in taking the next step in her career,” said Johnson.
