Three men have been charged over a dozen armed robberies at Melbourne milk bars and service stations over the past three weeks.

The men – a 21-year-old from Bullengarook, a 28-year-old Melton West man and a 24-year-old from Gladstone Park – have been charged with armed robbery, aggravated burglary, assault with a weapon and theft.

They are due to appear in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday.
