Providoor has relaunched in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane following the acquisition made by founder of Seventh Street Ventures Sam Benjamin.

The company’s comeback features a line-up of celebrity chefs and food personalities such as Matt Preston, Silvia Colloca, Anna Polyviou, Luke Nguyen, Gary Mehigan, Manu Feildel, Justin Narayan, and George Calombaris.

The service aims to provide “restaurant-quality meals” from a range of different cuisines that can be delivered directly to customers’ homes.

The meals are pre-prepared in the new Providoor kitchens located throughout Sydney in Homebush, Five Dock, Neutral Bay and Moore Park. More kitchens are expected to open in Sydney as well as in Melbourne and Brisbane in the near future.

Providoor was founded by Melbourne-based chef Shane Delia in 2020. The company went into liquidation in April before being acquired by Benjamin.

“I was a customer and loved the original concept of Providoor. It offers a connection for at-home diners to top chefs and restaurants who don’t want to cook but want elevated at-home dining,” said Benjamin.

“I know we can breathe new life back into a brand that has such good sentiment. The demand is there and we are ready to meet it.”
