QBD Books expands its Queensland footprint

QBD Books is increasing its investment in Queensland by opening a new store in Brisbane and an Australian Geographic store at Westfield Chermside.

QBD Books’ 85th store, in Westfield North Lakes, will be attended by two well-known locals, author Grantlee Kieza and illustrator Andy Geppert. The store opened on June 25.

The Australian Geographic store at Westfield Chermside, scheduled to open next month, will be the first standalone store under the banner in the state. It is located on the mall’s ground floor near Big W, and will sell a variety of geography-related products.

Since 2020, QBD Books and Australian Geographic have collaborated, and many of the QBD stores around the country feature its kiosks.

QBD Books CEO and children’s author Nicholas Croydon said the two openings allow the company to expand its business and offer a variety of exciting products for all ages.
