Nespresso has launched a new experiential boutique on the third floor of Westfield Bondi Junction, with the goal of engaging the local community through interactive and tailored experiences.
Customers can enjoy a ‘Coffee as an Art’ tasting and lecture area at the new store. The first set of Masterclasses is currently available at the store, guiding consumers on how to make some of Australia’s most well-known coffees as well as instructions on how to hack latte art at home.
Customers can also participate in an interactive ‘Taste & Discover’ section, where they can use Nespresso machines to create their own coffee recipes. According to the brand, coffee specialists are available to help customers further explore the Nespresso line by providing one-on-one coffee learning, tasting, and machine demos.
“Our new concept boutiques are designed to create an elevated coffee experience for customers, moving a step further beyond a transactional space towards a lifestyle destination that is both interactive and adaptive to the local area,” said Stefan Vermeulen Nespresso Oceania MD.
“We want customers to feel welcome to stay a while and discover more about the coffee they love, whether that be through sampling new blends, trying new recipes, or learning about Nespresso’s commitment to sustainability.”
Nespresso says the boutique is powered entirely by renewable energy, and also honours its long-standing dedication to sustainability and circularity, with elements including recycled coffee grounds tabletops and a recycling area where customers can return spent capsules.
The store also has a ‘Nespresso & You’ customisation area in the boutique where coffee aficionados can have their Nespresso travel mugs and pixie cups engraved with a customised message or name.
