Scotch whisky brand Johnnie Walker has opened a whisky-tasting space named Johnnie Walker Blue Room at Pitt Street Mall.

The Blue Room allows visitors to taste the flavours of Johnnie Walker’s range including the Johnnie Walker Blue Label. 

Guests can also learn more about the brand’s history, browse its most popular premium selection, and purchase limited quantities of Johnnie Walker Blue Label Elusive Umami ahead of its official launch next year.

In addition, the location features the Ritual Bar, considered the ornate centrepiece, where guided tastings are hosted by expert whisky connoisseurs. There will be glassware specially designed to highlight the unique flavours of the whisky.

“The Blue Room is a space where shoppers can indulge in a moment of quiet luxury during the busy festive shopping season, conveniently enjoy a dram, or pick up a thoughtful last-minute gift for the Scotch lover in their life,” said Melissa Barry, marketing manager for Johnnie Walker Australia. 

The whisky-tasting space will open until December 29.
