Swarovski unveils new store design at Canberra Centre

Swarovski-Crystal-Drop-ChandelierAustrian luxury jewellery retailer, Swarovski, will reopen its store at Canberra Centre tomorrow featuring their new ‘crystal forest’ format.

Swarovski said the ‘crystal forest’ store concept is a modern expression of the company’s identity and values.

The new store is situated in the heart of Canberra Centre, which has been a hub for fashion, food and shopping since 1963.

The jewellery retailer has also incorporated a digital display similar to the recently opened Mid City store.

Robert Buchbauer, member of the Swarovski Family and of the company’s executive board, said their store design is an illustration of the company’s contemporary vision and taste for design.

Recently, Swarovski bullishly asserted that while many industry players suffer from double digit declines, its own watch business is continuing to grow at a rate of over 30 per cent.

Buchbauer, Swarovski CEO, said the development of their watch business is bucking the global industry trend.

“This is due to the uniqueness of our watches which exude the Swarovski design language and renowned sparkle, Swiss made and affordable enough for an everyday style upgrade.”
