Inside Retail’s parent purchases recruitment firm
The publishing company, along with a group of strategic investors, has bought the majority stake in Career One from Acquire Learning and Careers, which entered voluntary administration in May.
“This will be a big win for our national audience, who will now benefit from access to both the latest news and industry insights, paired with exciting, personalised career opportunities,” said Oliver Ranck, CEO of Octomedia and director of Career Media Group.
“We see this purchase as the perfect marriage for the business, adding to our continued commitment to innovation and adaption to the digital era.”
Career Media Group intends to build a scalable solution that will be made available to other publishers and media partners.
“Our aim is to revolutionise the way people interact and engage with publishers,” said Ranck. “We believe the platform has the ability to drive additional revenue for a range of businesses by providing relevant job adverts to candidates at the right time, in the right place.”
