Levi’s has collaborated with Crocs to develop a new capsule collection commemorating the 150th anniversary of 501 jeans.
The collection’s first two products offer an improved version of Crocs’ All-Terrain Clog. A denim-wrapped panel has been added to each pair, and Sashiko stitching, a traditional Japanese embroidery method, has been used to finish it. A Red Tab and Levi’s button shanks are visible on the wearer’s right shoe, just like on every pair of Levi’s jeans.
The footbed features the Japanese Two-Horse pull logo, while three fine metal Jibbitz charms that were specially created for the collaboration are also included with each pair. The clogs, which come in both Navy and Bone colourways, include a turbo heel strap that is adjustable as well as tough lug outsoles with extra tread for better support and traction.
The third item in the Levi’s x Crocs capsule collection is a tie-dye pattern Classic Clog inspired by the Japanese Shibori dyeing method. Levi’s button shank hinge hardware, red outsoles, and a Two Horse-Pull heel stamp on the footbed are among the shoe’s features. The Classic Clog emphasises self-expression with eight custom Levi’s Jibbitz charms inspired by the ’60s counterculture and archival Levi’s designs.
“We share Levi’s brand commitment to innovation and self-expression,” said Heidi Cooley, CMO at Crocs.
“This collaboration invites fans everywhere to step into a new era of creativity and comfort.”
The Levi’s x Crocs collection will be available for purchase on both brands’ websites and through select wholesale partners worldwide beginning September 21.
