Milo was created by Nestle food scientist Thomas Mayne in 1934 during the Great Depression to provide something nourishing for the children with ingredients the company already had. Today, the choco malt drink is sold in more than 40 countries, making it one of the few Ausssie-made food brands to enjoy global recognition.

Founded in Sydney in 1928 by Alexander MacRae, Speedo is known worldwide for products ranging from swimsuits and goggles to wristwatches. While the brand has roots in the country, it is now based in Nottingham, England.
