Westfield Knox in Victoria will open a new fashion retail precinct later this year, which will serve as home to popular brands including Uniqlo, JD Sports, Glue Store, and General Pants Co.
“We’re very pleased to be part of Westfield Knox’s exciting redevelopment and investment into the local community, and we are excited to finally share that we will be opening a Uniqlo store in Westfield Knox later this year,” said a Uniqlo spokesperson.
“We are excited to present our unique exclusive mix of premium and on-trend brands to elevate customer’s looks from head to toe, including Nude Lucy, Carhartt WIP, Polo Ralph Lauren, Article One, and Stussy to name a few,” said Laura Ghannoum, general manager at Glue Store.
The new fashion retail precinct is part of the last stage of Westfield Knox’s $355 million redevelopment plan. The plan also includes a relocated food court, which would house Mad Mex, KFC, Chatime, Roll’d, Soul Origin, Subway, A+HK Café, Bonbons Bakery, New Era Dumplings, Sandwich Hut, Royal Donuts, and Yiros & Potato Hut.
In addition, swimming school Aquatic Achievers will open a 25-metre pool for children up to 12 years of age.
There will also be a new 2000-square-metre public library and co-working space and a new internal play space for kids.
The first stage of the redevelopment included the opening of a FIBA-grade basketball court and a nature-inspired outdoor kids’ play place alongside over 20 new and returning fashion and lifestyle retailers including Decjuba, Gorman, Forever New, Kathmandu, and Rebel, in June.
