The war over takeout is heating up with Yelp’s purchase of Eat24 for $US134 million ($A172 million). Eat24 allows users to order takeout from nearby restaurants online or with an app. It makes money by keeping a percentage of sales from restaurants. Online review company Yelp will be competing with GrubHub Inc, the leader in the competitive online food ordering market. GrubHub, which also owns the Seamless service, is used by 30,000 restaurants in the US and London. Yelp says about 20,000
