Australian menswear label, The Academy Brand, has launched two new Westfield stores this month.
The retailer has joined international and local brands in the Bondi Junction and Warringah Mall Westfield locations.
“The Academy Brand’s newly opened Westfield stores were launched to meet the demand of their ‘beach to bar’ lifestyle customers who live and shop in Sydney’s Eastern and Northern suburbs, and the interiors reflect the laidback, style-conscious attitude of the brand,” according to a statement released by the retailer.
The fashion brands said the new stores are a continuation of its bricks and morter growth strategy, adding to its existing high street stores in Newtown, Bondi and Paddington.
The store expansions follow a string of recent activity for the retailer including a nationwide David Jones concept store roll out and the introduction of the brands junior line, ‘Rookie by The Academy Brand’. In less than 10 years The Academy brand has grown from a $100k start up to an established apparel business with a turnover in excess of 10 million.
