Customised footwear retailer, Shoes of Prey, is seeking up to $5 million from Australian and US investors.
According to Shoes of Prey co-founder, Jodie Fox, the fundraising started two or three weeks ago, with an overall target between $2 million and $5 million.
“We’ve got great confidence from our current investors and that’s always a good sign, but I think we’d look to bring in investors who have expertise in the areas we’re looking to grow in the business,” Fox told BRW.
Shoes of Prey has previously raised $4.5 million from investors.
Fox says the investment would fund growth and particularly a more strategic rather than opportunistic path to international expansion, particularly in the US market.
