SABA opens new flagship at QVB

SABA_QVB_FLAGSHIPContemporary fashion label SABA has opened a new concept flagship store at QVB in Sydney’s CBD, designed by award-winning interior design firm, Hecker Guthrie.

The  store concept incorporates sophisticated multimedia elements, a monochromatic palette and contemporary architectural design in a refined, minimalist spaceand signifies a ‘visual expression of the SABA brand’.

Paul Hecker and Hamish Guthrie said ‘reflecting on the strong heritage and influence that SABA has had on the Australian fashion industry since 1965, we were prompted to unravel this SABA ‘DNA’.

The flagship store has opened ahead of Christmas as the fashion retailer also its summer campaign – with new womenswear, menswear and accessory collections available.

In a statement, APG & Co-owned Saba said the store was “a pinnacle moment for the brand, and marks the beginning of a longstanding partnership with one of Sydney’s most historic and architecturally superb buildings.”

Founded in 1965 by Melbourne designer, Joseph Saba, the fashion chain now has over 100 locations across Australia, including online, freestanding and concession stores at David Jones and Myer.
