In 2018, Toys ‘R’ Us and Babies ‘R’ Us shut their doors in Australia. But last year, owner of independent retailer Hobby Warehouse Louis Mittoni and his team brought it back into the market. Mittoni discusses the rise in sales the businesses have experienced since the coronavirus outbreak and his plans for them in the future. Inside Retail Weekly: Now that a lot more people are keeping their kids at home from school, I’ve heard that for kids’ categories like toys, sales have gone up.
