Brumby’s new look

Brumby's Underwood_Service Area oBrumby’s Bakery has unveiled its store of the future at Underwood, Queensland.

The store features a new logo, colour palette, packaging, products, digital menu boards, uniforms, and a new walk in layout. A new mantra for has also been adopted by the brand – to own old fashioned service.

Brumby’s Bakery MD, Kevin Waite, said the brand’s evolution marks a return to Brumby’s authentic roots as traditional bakers, and highlights its 38 year history in Australia.

“We were conscious not to betray Brumby’s established values, and have kept them intact by celebrating our long heritage as proud traditional Australian bakers, our commitment to quality and wholesome ingredients,” said Waite.

“Our new store highlights these core Brumby’s values through the use of wheat and windmill motifs, images, and messages from our Australian farms and a rustic colour scheme. We’re taking our customers on the journey of bread making with us, from land to loaf.

“The new store design invites customers inside and puts our bakers in the spotlight to showcase our craft and allow customers to view the baking process, adding to the authenticity of our products and service.”

Brumby’s reinvigorated menu introduces an espresso coffee blend to its offering, along with a three tier bread menu of Get Active (health and wellbeing), Preservative Free (everyday essentials) and Artisan (specialty) loaves.

New pie and sausage flavours include wagyu beef and beer, peri peri chicken, and pork and fennel. Topped focaccias and gourmet sandwiches have also been added to the menu, along with muesli slices, family tarts and an indulgent sweets range.

Brumby’s is the fourth of Retail Food Group’s Brand Systems to receive a makeover, following new format rollouts for Esquires (including drive-thru and hole in wall outlets), Michel’s Patisserie, and Donut King.
