Rebel signs 10-year partnership with Fanatics

Rebel Sports has launched a 10-year partnership with global licensed sports merchandiser Fanatics in a move that will bring official apparel from the NFL, NBA, NHL and Premier League, among others, to the chain.

According to Rebel’s MD Gary Williams the deal brings more than 25,000 new licensed sporting items to the business.

“This partnership is a powerful combination that reflects the shared motivation Rebel and Fanatics have for innovation, performance and passion – and sees Rebel continue to fulfil its vision of inspiring all Australians to live out their sporting dreams,” Williams said.

Fanatics trades online in the US, and the deal with Rebel is its first ‘significant’ partnership with an Australian retailer, according to the business.

And, while customers will be able to buy Fanatics products through Rebels websites, the items will be fulfilled directly by Fanatics’ international warehouses and logistics.
