Luxury fashion company Oroton has opened a concept store in Paddington, Sydney, this month.
The new store features this season’s clothing and accessories along with glass cabinets filled with collectibles, ceramic plates and sculptures.
Creative director Sophie Holt and her design team said they wanted to elaborate on the craftsmanship that goes into the collections and create an “immersive experience” for customers.
“We wanted the space to feel more like a home,” said Holt. “I’ve always thought, imagine if you could see a little painting on the wall in a store and it was actually for sale. It’s all about creating the whole aesthetic.”
The boutique includes a foyer, a space for book club meetings and dinners, a kitchen where customers can sit on stools and have a drink, and a salon where styling events can be hosted.
Jenny Child, CEO of Oroton, said: “It was our ultimate goal to create a concept that feels special and innovative, an intimate space to celebrate collaborations, bring new awareness to the brand and invite the community in for hosted events.”
