The former Balmain League Club is set to be redeveloped into a retail precinct called Rozelle Village complemented by luxury residences.

The founding director of Retail Strategy Group, Angela Bonnefin, said the local Balmain and Rozelle community’s needs were “first and foremost” in her design strategy.

“Rozelle Village is all about community and connection and will be curated to suit the needs and lifestyles of the local residents.”

The precinct will feature 147 luxury residences including studios, apartments and towers at varying heights along with a range of bespoke style specialty stores and a 1400sqm public village square.

To enhance resident well-being, private and public communal green spaces will be added to improve the visual appeal of the development.

The Village will share a central entrance for the new Wests Ashfield Leagues Club which will have bars, restaurants with terrace dining and gaming lounges.

Construction will be completed in early 2026.
